Cycling is a wonderful way to experience Kashubia: through forests, past lakes, over rolling hills and through small Kashubian villages.
You do not need to be a racing cyclist. Even a short ride from Łączyno can offer plenty of variety, while gravel and mountain-bike riders will find longer and more demanding options.
Pomorskie is also investing in cycling infrastructure and current tourist maps. The 2026 edition includes cycle routes, rest areas, rail connections, parking and leisure facilities.
Six cycling routes to explore
From a short ride near Łapalice to a longer day among lakes and viewpoints. Distances cover the described routes, excluding the journey from the villa. A point-to-point route is not a loop.

Łączyno → Złota Góra
- Start → finish
- Łączyno → Brodnica Górna → Złota Góra

The source does not specify every surface or total ascent. Check the map and conditions; do not assume a flat or fully paved route.
2 · Distance: 5,2 km
Łapalice → Rekowo
- Start → finish
- Łapalice: Chmieleńska / Rekowska → Rekowo
A short red trail through fields and woodland. About 80% unpaved and 20% asphalt. The final 300 m descends steeply: the source advises against trailers and panniers here. The remainder is described as easy. Access to the unfinished castle is not confirmed.
3 · Distance: 7 km
Rekowo → Kosy → Kartuzy
- Start → finish
- Rekowo → Kosy → Kartuzy
The blue Chmielno trail runs from Rekowo via Kosy to the collegiate church in Kartuzy. About 35% unpaved roads, 35% asphalt roads and 30% paved cycle paths. Watch the difficult first 300 m, where the source advises against trailers and panniers. Plan the return journey.
4 · Distance: 25,7 km
Kartuzy → Sianowo
- Start → finish
- Kolegiata Kartuzy → Łapalice → Pomieczyńska Huta → Kolonia → Sianowo
A green nature trail via Łapalice, Pomieczyńska Huta and Kolonia to the sanctuary in Sianowo. Rated moderate by the source. About 70% unpaved roads, 20% asphalt roads and 10% paved cycle paths. It is 25.7 km one way, or 51.4 km returning along the same route.

A longer point-to-point route from Łączyno via Wygoda Łączyńska, Miechucino and Mirachowo to the Potęgowskie lakes and Kamienica Królewska. The park authority lists 30.8 km. Choose a shorter out-and-back section or arrange transport home; the full return ride is 61.6 km.
The source does not specify every surface or total ascent. Check the map and conditions; do not assume a flat or fully paved route.
6 · Distance: 43,7 km
Panorama • 43,7 km
A longer viewpoint itinerary on the regional route map: 43.7 km. The source rates it moderate and estimates around four hours, excluding extra stops and detours. Use the map and GPX for the exact start, course and elevation profile. A full-day option for riders comfortable with this distance.
The source does not specify every surface or total ascent. Check the map and conditions; do not assume a flat or fully paved route.
Preparation
Download the map or GPX from the source page before leaving. Check the elevation profile and plan your return on point-to-point routes; altitude above sea level is not total ascent. Bring water, repair equipment and lights. An e-bike helps on hills, but allow enough battery reserve. Check weather, forestry work and local access. Not every section is a separate cycle path. With young children or a trailer, check difficult sections beforehand.
